As a frequent Showbox user, I have to admit that I rarely encounter any problems or errors with the application. Often, I resolve error messages by simply restarting the app, and it always works fine.
However, seeing the number of complaints being reported online, I decided to investigate a bit further.
After a lot of research, I have written this simple article to tell you how to deal with common problems like ShowBox server errors, ShowBox not responding, and more. So, let’s start!
Issues with Showbox
The most common problems include:
- The ShowBox app closing and not restarting;
- Streaming stopping abruptly;

Yay! You’re sorted!
Number Two How-to

ShowBox Server Error
ShowBox Server errors occur when files or torrents for a movie or TV show are missing or if they have never been added.
This means the data is unavailable anywhere on the Internet or has yet to be uploaded. You can wait a few days and try again.
Videos on ShowBox reset to the beginning
Some even say that this happens over and over again. The cause of the problem is simple. Most often, it happens because of slow internet connections.
When streaming content, you connect your smartphone to the server session, which expires after some time. If you have slow internet, your session may expire before the content is finished loading, so the video may restart.
Try getting a faster internet connection or pause the video before starting it to allow it to buffer for a while before watching.
ShowBox is crashing
Crash reports are perhaps the most common concern reported by users of apps. The reason for this is easy to fix!
To stop your favorite app from crashing, you might want to delete some older apps, unnecessary data, and media files. If your memory becomes too full to run the process, this can cause problems.
Otherwise, the error is rare and you can simply restart the app.
ShowBox cannot play videos
If you also want to watch movies on TV or PC, consider using GrowBox. Read more about GrowBox and Showbox here.

Showbox Error “No Space on SD Card”
ShowBox is an app that provides you with the freedom to download videos, but it also takes up a lot of storage space.
If your SD card is full, it will delete some important files. It’s hard to find an app that uses up all your phone’s storage, and it’s a time-consuming task.
Here, we’ll discuss how to fix the error that occurs when trying to download a video using ShowBox: “There is no space left on the SD card.”
- Open the Google Play Store and navigate to “App cache cleaner“.
- Install the application.
- When you open the app, it will ask if you agree with the app’s terms and conditions. Tap “Agree”.
- Once the app opens on your device, it automatically scans for all other apps.
- Now, if you see that all apps listed under “app cache cleaner” are listed according to their space usage, then you can clear the cache and data from “app cache”.
- Now, when you download a video using ShowBox, there will be no errors on the screen.
Instead of uninstalling essential applications from the phone, it is better to clear the data and cache of the apps themselves. This is the safest and easiest way to remove unwanted data collected by apps from your phone.
Moreover, clearing the cache benefits your mobile device as it removes waste collected by apps on your device.
With an app cache cleaner, you can follow the same process and download new apps, music files, videos, and movies, among other things.
End Notes
If you often use the Showbox app, which provides you with the latest movies and TV shows for free, then the solutions mentioned above will certainly be of great assistance.
We hope that you will succeed in fixing any problems with your Showbox. Have a wonderful ride.
